Why was it created?

DictionBuddy is a 21st Century solution to a challenge that emerged in the 20th century due to the growing need for singers of classical repertoire to have a strong command of diction in various languages. It was created by three singers who saw an opportunity to serve the singing community by providing convenient and affordable access to diction ear training. As the opera industry has become highly competitive, and more talented singers are entering the market from all over the world, it is paramount for singing professionals to excel on multiple levels, including their ability to express the text in various languages. A strong command of diction is expected.
