Misha Ogorodnov

Mikhail Ogorodnov is a vocal coach and a pianist giving solo concerts as well as performing as a chamber musician and accompanist in Russia and internationally. 

One of his most memorable performances took place at the Chateau de Pitray where Gabriell Faure and Jules Massenet are believed to have frequented. 

Mr. Ogorodnov received his Doctor's Degree from the Leningrad Conservatory and for many years, taught collaborative piano and chamber music at the St. Petersburg Mussorgsky College of Music. He is a founding member of the Ferrapontov Monastery's belfry and contibuted to the melody for the Gatchin Palace's clock chimes. Currenly, Mr. Ogorodnov works in Piano Department of the Tishchenko College of Music and Education.
