Marco nisticò

In addition to his performances, in recent years Mr. Nisticò has turned his attention to teaching, coaching, giving masterclasses, and stage directing. In 2018 he made his company debut as stage director with Opera Southwest in Albuquerque (Puccini’s Tosca). He is frequently invited to coach or give masterclasses by the companies with whom he performs, including Opera Memphis, Colorado Opera, Sarasota Opera, and others. For the past few summers, he has also taught language, interpretation and style, along with stage directing opera scenes at the Savannah Voice Festival, Brancaleoni Festival (Italy), Teatro Nuovo (SUNY Purchase) and others. Mr. Nisticò frequently acts as a mentor to his younger colleagues, giving career advice as well as private coachings tailored to their specific needs and interests.
