Katrin Bulke

Ms. Bulke is a proud graduate of the University Mozartum in Salzburg (Austria). She holds a master in Opera Singing and had the chance to study with the actor Werner Friedl. Under his guidance she acquired a proficiency in fundamental stage pronunciation for the German language. Mr. Friedl was a student of the German Linguist Theodor Siebs, author of the books “Deutsche Bühnenaussprache” (German stage pronunciation) and “Deutsche Aussprache. Reine und gemäßigte Hochlautung mit Aussprachewörterbuch” (German pronunciation. Stage and regular pronunciation with pronunciation dictionary), the most significant regulations of the German pronunciation for stage and public media. As a singer Ms. Bulke has worked under supervision of masters such as Helmut Deutsch, Andreas Macco, Valentin Peychinov and Carmela Altamura. She is known for ”electrifying the audience with the famous Queen of the Night aria [... and] for pinpoint accuracy“. She is quickly establishing herself as a strong and talented Soprano in the world of opera and operetta. The popularity of her voice and her thrilling operatic performance brought her the audience award, by land slide, in the Caruso Competition (2017) in NYC and the Grand Prix at the Concert Festival International Competition (2018). Ms. Bulke has been involved in projects around the globe such as: Soloist in “Symphonic Concert of Centennial Classics” 2019 and “Spring Blossom 2018 Grand Gala” in David Geffen Hall (NYC), Soloist in the Gala for Dvoraks anniversery at Carnegie Hall (NYC), Soloist in the concert “Verdi ́s Recommendation” in the Nuova Fenice Opera House of Osimo (Italy) and Operetta concerts in Augsburg (Germany), St. Wolfgang (Austria) among others. Beside Concert experiences, she calls the Opera Music her home and performed with different US companies roles such as: Gilda (Rigoletto), Amina (La Sonnambula), Madame Goldentrill (The Impressario), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Queen of the night (Zauberflöte - Carnegie Hall), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Frasquita (Carmen), Queen Elizabeth (Roberto Devereux) and Blonde (The Abduction of the Serail), Musetta (La Boheme).
