ELSA queron

Born and raised in France, Elsa Quéron studied at the Paris Conservatory for 4 years before moving to New York City in 2010 to pursue her studies at the Manhattan School of Music. Through vocal performance studies, she became more and more interested in phonetics and diction, and decided to specialize in French diction and repertoire coaching.
In 2016, Elsa started the French opera libretti book series, French Operas by Elsa. A full guide to performing some of the most famous French operas, her volumes include a full phonetic transcript of the French text, a word-for-word and literary translation to English and a comprehensive background study of all cultural and historical references from the libretto.

18 operas, 4 aria anthologies and dozens of mélodies have since been published and Elsa now teaches French diction and French Vocal Literature at the Manhattan School of Music and maintains a private studio in New York City.
